2. Bufalino One Person Camper

Bufalino by German industrial designer Cornelius Comanns “is a small camper which is equipped to meet the basic needs of one person.” Based on the classic three-wheeled Piaggio Ape. It has a bed, two seating units, a cooking zone, a basin, storage space, a water tank and a refrigerator, and its back door also functions as a space for drying clothes.

my aim was to give people a better understanding of the country, the surrounding, and the range they have travelled. the travelling vehicle is always with you like some kind of a base camp, while also being used for moving on in an easygoing and spontaneous way. ” – Cornelius Comanns

we recently featured the work of kevin cyr, here is another project of his titled 'camper kart'.
the pop up camper is affixed to a shopping cart which can be pushed to a chosen location
and opened to serve as a functioning habitat for an urban camper. the project investigates
habitats and housing, recycling and ecology; exploration and mobility.

Of course that doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for you to store your cans you’re collecting for refunds. And obviously you wouldn’t want to park this thing for the night at the top of a hill (unless your name is Mr. Bean or something). Interesting concept though.
